Danielle Marie Campbell (born January 30, 1995) is an American actress. She is well-known for her roles in popular TV shows and movies. You might know her as Jessica Olson in the 2010 Disney Channel Original Movie Starstruck. She also played Simone Daniels in the 2011 Disney film Prom. Later, she became famous as Davina Claire in The Originals. More recently, she starred as Kayla Powell and Olivia Moon in the TV series Tell Me a Story.

Early Life and Discovery
Danielle Campbell grew up in Hinsdale, Illinois. Her parents are Georganne and John Campbell. She also has a younger brother. Danielle was discovered when she was only ten years old. A talent scout found her in a hair salon in Chicago.
Her Acting Journey
Danielle's first acting job was on the TV show Prison Break. She appeared in five episodes as a guest star. She also acted in a national commercial for Build-A-Bear Workshop. In 2008, she played Darla in the movie The Poker House.
In 2010, Danielle appeared in the Disney Channel show Zeke and Luther. She played a character named Dani. That same year, she starred in the Disney Channel movie Starstruck with Sterling Knight. After Starstruck became popular, she signed a special deal with Disney.
Her next big movie was Prom, which came out in 2011. In this film, she acted alongside Nicholas Braun, Nolan Sotillo, and Aimee Teegarden.
Becoming a Witch in The Originals
In 2013, Danielle got a main role in the TV series The Originals. She played Davina, a very powerful teenage witch. This role made her very popular with fans.
Danielle continued to work on new projects. In 2015, she filmed Race To Redemption. She starred in this movie with Aiden Flowers and Luke Perry. The movie was released in 2016. She also appeared in the 2017 Fine Brothers production F the Prom. In 2018, she was in the music video for "Better With You" by Jesse McCartney.
Later in 2018, Danielle had a recurring role in the second season of Famous in Love. In June 2018, she was cast in a main role for the TV drama series Tell Me a Story. In 2021, Danielle performed in a Broadway play called Trouble in Mind.
Personal Life
Danielle Campbell lives in Los Angeles, California. In August 2023, she got engaged to her longtime friend and former The Originals co-star, Colin Woodell. They had been dating for five years.
