Danielle Henry is a British actress. She is well-known for her roles in popular TV shows. Danielle played Mandy Marquez in the BBC soap opera Doctors. She also appeared as Latisha Daggert in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale. More recently, she starred as Mary Oliver in the CBBC series My Mum Tracy Beaker.
Her Acting Journey
Danielle Henry started her acting career in 2001. Her first big role was as Latisha Daggert in the TV show Emmerdale. She was on the show from 2001 to 2002 and came back for a short time in 2006.
After Emmerdale, Danielle appeared in other TV series like Torchwood and Survivors. In 2011, she was part of the BBC series Candy Cabs.
A major step in her career was joining the BBC soap opera Doctors in 2012. She played Mandy Marquez, a regular character on the show. In Doctors, her character Mandy was the girlfriend of Freya Wilson, played by Lu Corfield. Interestingly, Lu Corfield was also her co-star in Candy Cabs! Danielle and Lu were even nominated for "Best On-Screen Partnership" at the British Soap Awards in 2014.
In 2021, Danielle took on another important role. She starred as Mary Oliver in the CBBC series My Mum Tracy Beaker. This show is popular with younger audiences. She continued this role in The Beaker Girls in 2021.
