Darlington is a town located in Lafayette County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In 2010, about 875 people lived there. This was more than the 757 people who lived there in 2000. The city of Darlington, which is the main city (or county seat) of Lafayette County, is actually inside this town. A small community called Red Rock is also found in the eastern part of the town.
Geography of Darlington
Darlington is right in the middle of Lafayette County. Because of its central location, it was first called "Center." The city of Darlington is located in the northern-central part of the town.
The town covers an area of about 118.9 square kilometers (or 45.9 square miles). All of this area is land. The Pecatonica River flows through the northern and eastern parts of Darlington.

In 2000, there were 757 people living in the town. These people made up 266 households and 196 families. The population density was about 16.4 people per square mile.
