Emory Darnell Clash was born on June 18, 1962. He is an American former professional football player. Darnell played as a defensive back for four seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was part of two teams: the BC Lions and the Toronto Argonauts. Before playing professionally, he played college football at the University of Wyoming.

Emory Darnell Clash was born in Cambridge, Maryland. This was on June 18, 1962.
He played college football for the Wyoming Cowboys. His time with the team was from 1980 to 1982. Darnell was very good at returning kicks and punts. He set a school record for the most career kick and punt returns. He had 153 returns in total. He also gained 2,286 yards from these returns. This was another school record. In 1981, he was recognized for his skills. He earned All-Western Athletic Conference honors. Clash also made seven interceptions during his college career.
Professional Football Career
Darnell Clash played in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He joined the BC Lions in 1984. He played 39 games for them until 1987. In 1985, he was named a CFL All-Star. This means he was one of the best players in the league that year.
Later in the 1987 season, he also played for the Toronto Argonauts. He played 16 games for them. During this time, he was recognized as a CFL East All-Star. This showed he was one of the top players in the Eastern division of the CFL.
