Time with the Buffalo Bills
Unfortunately, Wren faced some challenges early in his NFL career. He was placed on injured reserve on August 26, 1991. This meant he couldn't play for the entire 1991 season due to an injury. On August 19, 1994, the Patriots traded Wren to the Seattle Seahawks. In return, the Patriots would get a draft pick for 1995. However, the trade was canceled just three days later. This happened because Wren did not pass his physical exam with the Seahawks.
He then returned to the Patriots. He played in eight games for them in 1995. He made one tackle during that season. After the 1995 season, he became a free agent again.
