Davi José Silva do Nascimento, known simply as Davi, is a former professional football player from Brazil. He was born on March 10, 1984, in Fortaleza, Brazil. Davi played as a striker, which means he was a forward player whose main job was to score goals for his team. He is well-known for his time playing for various clubs, especially in Japan.

Davi's Football Journey

Davi started his football career in Brazil. He played for youth teams like Ceará and Maranguape. Later, he joined professional clubs such as Ipitanga and Vitória.

Playing in Japan

Davi moved to Japan in 2007, joining Consadole Sapporo. He quickly became a key player for them. In his first season, he scored 17 goals in 39 games. This helped his team get promoted to the top league, the J1 League.

He continued to play well in the J1 League, scoring 16 goals in 26 games for Consadole Sapporo in 2008. His great performance caught the attention of other teams.

Moving to New Teams

In 2009, Davi moved to Nagoya Grampus, another J1 League team. He scored 10 goals in 17 matches there. After this, he played for Umm-Salal in Qatar and had a short loan spell with Beijing Guoan in China.

He returned to Japan in 2011, joining Ventforet Kofu. In 2012, he had an amazing season, scoring 32 goals in 36 games for Ventforet Kofu in the J2 League. This made him one of the top scorers in the league.

Later Career in Japan

From 2013 to 2015, Davi played for Kashima Antlers, one of Japan's most famous clubs. He continued to score goals, adding 20 goals in 61 appearances for them.

He later returned to Ventforet Kofu in 2016. In his final years, he played for Matsumoto Yamaga in 2017 and Giravanz Kitakyushu in 2018. He left Giravanz Kitakyushu at the end of 2018, marking the end of his professional career.
