David Charles Carnegie, 4th Duke of Fife (born 3 March 1961) is a British peer and a businessman. A "peer" is someone who holds a special title, like a Duke, and is part of the nobility in the United Kingdom.
He is the only living son of the previous Duke of Fife, James Carnegie, and his former wife, Caroline Dewar. David Carnegie became the Duke of Fife on 22 June 2015, after his father passed away. He also became the Chief of the Clan Carnegie, which is a historic family group in Scotland.
The Duke of Fife is related to the British Royal Family. He is a descendant of Edward VII, who was a King of the United Kingdom. He is also a third cousin of King Charles III. This means they share great-great-grandparents.
