David King (born December 27, 1989) is an American former professional football player. He played as a defensive end, which is a position on the defensive line. David was chosen by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2013 NFL draft. Before becoming a professional, he played college football at the University of Oklahoma.

Starting Out: College and Draft
David King was born in Houston, Texas. He went to Strake Jesuit College Preparatory for high school. After that, he played college football for the Oklahoma Sooners. He was a strong player there.
In 2013, David entered the 2013 NFL draft. This is where professional teams pick new players. The Philadelphia Eagles chose him in the seventh round. He was the 239th player picked overall.
Playing in the NFL
