How David Whitley Writes His Books
David Whitley says he plans his books very carefully. He likes to have everything organized before he starts writing.
He usually creates at least ten pages of notes. These notes include a full plan for the story. He also writes descriptions of his characters. He even breaks down the book chapter by chapter.
This detailed planning helps him stay on track. It also lets him add new ideas or characters as he writes. He knows they will fit well into the overall story.
