How was the show made?
Unlike The Croods movie, which used computer animation, this TV show uses 2D animation. The creators wanted the show to look more like a "cartoon." Making "squash and stretch" movements in computer animation was too expensive for a TV show.
Using a different animation style also helped the show stand out. The first three episodes were animated using a program called Toon Boom Harmony. Later episodes were hand-drawn by studios in South Korea.
