Chris Parnell (born February 5, 1967) is an American actor and comedian. He is famous for his roles in many TV shows and movies. You might know his voice from popular cartoons like Rick and Morty and Archer. He also used to be a cast member on the funny sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live.

Chris Parnell's Early Life
Chris Parnell was born in Memphis, Tennessee. His dad, Jack Parnell, was a radio personality in Memphis. Chris went to Germantown High School. When he was 17, he decided he wanted to be an actor. He went to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts to study drama. After college, he moved to Houston, Texas, to try acting at a theater. Later, he moved to Los Angeles and joined a comedy group called The Groundlings in 1992.
Chris Parnell's Acting Career
While performing with The Groundlings, Chris started getting small roles in TV shows and commercials. He appeared in popular shows like Seinfeld.
Joining Saturday Night Live
Chris joined the cast of Saturday Night Live (often called SNL) in 1998. SNL is a famous TV show where actors perform funny skits and impressions of celebrities. Chris became a main cast member the next year.
He was known for being very good at staying in character, even when his co-stars were laughing. This earned him the nickname "The Ice Man." One of his most famous skits was "More Cowbell" and a rap video called "Lazy Sunday" with Andy Samberg.
Chris left SNL in 2006 after being on the show for eight seasons. He was one of the longest-serving cast members at that time.
