Starting Her Music Journey
When Dayana was four years old, her grandmother took her to an audition. This was at a local community center. At first, the teachers thought Dayana could not sing well. The next year, she won the selection with her song "Mechtay". This meant she would represent Russia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with her song "Dream On".
Earlier in 2013, Dayana was also chosen to represent Russia. This was for the children's contest at the 2013 Slavianski Bazaar. In 2012, she had also almost made it to this contest. At Slavianski Bazaar, she shared third place with Galina Dubok from Ukraine.
