Daymon Scott Patterson, better known as Daym Drops, was born on September 24, 1977. He is a famous American food critic, YouTube celebrity, and television presenter. He first became very popular on YouTube for his video review of a Five Guys takeout meal. This video was so popular that it inspired a viral online song by The Gregory Brothers! Daym Drops also hosted Best Daym Takeout, a TV show on the Travel Channel in 2013, which was based on his YouTube reviews.

Before becoming a full-time fast food critic, Daymon Patterson worked as a manager in stores like Walmart. He also worked as a buyer at CarMax. Now, he reviews takeout fast food all the time!
How Daym Drops Became Famous
Daym Drops' videos often show him trying foods from places like Burger King, McDonald's, Jack in the Box, In-N-Out Burger, and Taco Bell. He became super famous with his video called Five Guys Burgers and Fries Review. In this video, he shared his thoughts on a Five Guys cheeseburger and fries. This video was so popular that it was remixed into a song called "Oh My Dayum" by The Gregory Brothers. This song also became very popular online!
After his mother talked to him, Daym now also reviews healthier foods in his videos.

Daym Patterson is the host of the Travel Channel show Best Daym Takeout, which started in 2013. On this TV show, which is filmed in different places across the United States, Daym reviews takeout foods while sitting in his car.
Daym Drops has also appeared in commercials for fast food restaurants like Popeyes and Burger King.
He hosted the Netflix series Fresh, Fried and Crispy, which started on June 9, 2021. For his work on this show, he was nominated for an award called Outstanding Culinary Host at the 49th Daytime Emmy Awards.
