Demarquis "Dee" Bost (born October 12, 1989) is a professional basketball player. He was born in America but also plays for the Bulgarian national team. He played college basketball at Mississippi State University.

Dee Bost's Early Basketball Journey
Dee Bost started his basketball career at Concord High School in Concord, North Carolina. In his final year, he was a star player. He helped his team win the 3A state basketball championship. Because of his amazing skills, he was named the 2007 Male Athlete of the Year.
He was also a talented football player. He helped his school become the first 3A school in North Carolina to win both state football and basketball titles in the same year. He was the quarterback for the football team that won the 2006 Class 3A state football title.
Playing at Hargrave Military Academy
After high school, Dee Bost spent one year at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Virginia. During the 2007–08 season, he helped his team achieve a perfect record of 29 wins and no losses. They also won the 2008 National Prep Championship title.
College Basketball Career
Dee Bost played college basketball for the Mississippi State team.
Freshman Year Success
In his first year, he was recognized for his talent. He was named to the 2009 SEC All-Freshman team. He played in 36 games, averaging 10.9 points and 4.3 assists per game.
Sophomore and Junior Years
In his second year, he continued to shine. He was named to the 2010 All-SEC second team. He averaged 13.0 points and 5.2 assists per game.
In 2010, he faced a temporary suspension from playing. This was due to rules about leaving for the NBA draft and keeping up with his studies. After the suspension, he returned as team captain. He was again named to the All-SEC second team. He averaged 15.3 points and 6.2 assists per game in his junior year.
Senior Year Highlights
In his final year at Mississippi State, Dee Bost was named to the All-SEC first team. He played in 33 games, averaging 15.8 points and 5.5 assists per game.
Professional Basketball Career
After college, Dee Bost began his professional basketball journey. He joined the Portland Trail Blazers for the NBA Summer League in 2012.
Starting in Europe
In August 2012, he signed with Budućnost Podgorica in Montenegro. He played there for one season.
Playing in the NBA D-League
In 2013, he joined the Idaho Stampede as an affiliate player. He was even chosen to play in the 2014 NBA D-League All-Star Game.
Journey Across Teams
Dee Bost has played for many different teams around the world. He played for Trotamundos de Carabobo in Venezuela in 2014. He also played for Trabzonspor in Turkey from 2014 to 2015.
He then moved to Poland, playing for Stelmet Zielona Góra in the 2015–16 season. He helped them win the Polish League championship and was named the Finals MVP.
He spent time with Monaco in France from 2016 to 2017. Later, he played for Žalgiris Kaunas in Lithuania and SIG Strasbourg in France.
In 2018, he signed with BC Khimki in Russia. He later returned to Monaco for two more seasons (2019–2021).
Recent Teams
From 2021 to 2023, Dee Bost played for Galatasaray Nef in Turkey. In 2023, he briefly played for ASVEL and Metropolitans 92 in France. He then returned to Galatasaray Ekmas for a second time. In 2024, he joined Indios de Mayagüez in Puerto Rico.

Dee Bost has achieved many great things in his career:
