Demarquis Dangelo "Dee" Bost (born October 12, 1989) is a professional basketball player. He was born in America but also plays for the Bulgarian national team. Currently, he plays for Al-Rayyan in the Qatari Basketball League. Before becoming a pro, he played college basketball at Mississippi State University.

High School Basketball Journey
Dee Bost went to Concord High School in Concord, North Carolina. In his final year, he was a star player. He helped his team win the 3A state basketball championship. He was even named the Male Athlete of the Year in 2007.
Dee was also a great football player. He helped his school win the state football title too. This made Concord High the first 3A school in North Carolina to win both basketball and football state titles in the same year!
Prep School Season
After high school, Dee went to Hargrave Military Academy for one year. This was a special prep season to get ready for college. He helped Hargrave Military Academy have a perfect season. They won all 29 of their games and became the 2008 National Prep Champions.
College Basketball Career
Dee Bost played college basketball for Mississippi State. He quickly became a key player for his team.
- Freshman Year (2009): He was named to the SEC All-Freshman team. He averaged almost 11 points and over 4 assists per game.
- Sophomore Year (2010): He continued to shine and was named to the All-SEC second team. He averaged 13 points and over 5 assists per game.
- Junior Year (2011): Dee was suspended for some games but came back strong. He was named to the All-SEC second team again. He averaged over 15 points and 6 assists per game.
- Senior Year (2012): He had an amazing final year. He was named to the All-SEC first team. He averaged nearly 16 points and 5.5 assists per game.
Professional Basketball Career
After college, Dee Bost started his professional basketball career. He has played for many teams around the world.
Early Career (2012–2014)
Dee joined the Portland Trail Blazers for the NBA Summer League in 2012. He then signed with Budućnost Podgorica in Montenegro. After that, he played for the Idaho Stampede in the NBA D-League. He was even named an NBA D-League All-Star in 2014. Later that year, he played for Trotamundos de Carabobo.
Playing in Europe (2014–2023)
Dee Bost spent many years playing for top teams in Europe.
- Trabzonspor (2014–2015): He played for this team in Turkey.
- Stelmet Zielona Góra (2015–2016): He moved to Poland and helped his team win the Polish League championship. He was also named the Finals MVP!
- AS Monaco Basket (2016–2017, 2019–2021): Dee played two different times for Monaco in France. He helped them win the French League Cup. He also won the EuroCup championship with them in 2021.
- Žalgiris Kaunas (2017): He had a short time playing in Lithuania.
- SIG Strasbourg (2017–2018): He returned to France to play for Strasbourg. He helped them win the French Federation Cup.
- BC Khimki (2018–2019): He played for this team in Russia.
- Galatasaray Nef (2021–2023, 2023–2024): Dee played for Galatasaray in Turkey for two different periods.
- ASVEL (2023): He played briefly for ASVEL in France.
- Metropolitans 92 (2023): He also played for Metropolitans 92 in France for a short time.
