Del Toro Lake, also known as Lago del Toro or Lago Toro, is a large lake in southern Chile. You can find it in the beautiful Magallanes Region. Its name, "Toro," means "Bull" in Spanish. Locals say it's called this because the lake can get very "angry." This means it often has big waves, up to 4 meters (about 13 feet) high! These waves are caused by strong winds blowing across its long shape. The lake is about 32 kilometers (20 miles) long and covers an area of 202 square kilometers (78 square miles). It's also quite deep, reaching about 300 meters (984 feet) in some spots.
Many rivers flow into Del Toro Lake, including the Paine River and the Río de las Chinas. The lake's water then flows out through the Serrano River. This lake is a great place for outdoor activities. You can go camping and fishing at a spot called Bahia el Bote.
