Demetrius Joyette (born March 14, 1993) is a Canadian actor. You might know him from his popular roles as Michael Theodore Davies in the TV show The Latest Buzz, Porter Jackson in Wingin' It, or the hockey player Mike Dallas in Degrassi: The Next Generation.

Early Life and First Roles
Demetrius Joyette was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He started his acting career when he was very young.
His first television role was in 2001 on the medical drama series Doc, where he played a character named Justin. This role was a great start for him, and he was nominated for a Young Artist Award two years in a row. In 2003, he appeared in his first movie, a Christmas film called Blizzard.
Rise to Fame on Television
As a teenager, Joyette became a familiar face on kids' and teen TV shows. From 2007 to 2010, he starred in The Latest Buzz as Michael, one of the main characters working for a teen magazine.
Soon after, he landed another major role in the show Wingin' It. He played Porter Jackson, an angel-in-training trying to help a high school student.
From 2012 to 2015, Joyette joined the cast of the famous teen drama Degrassi: The Next Generation. He played Mike Dallas, a star hockey player who deals with many challenges.
In 2013, he also had a role in the supernatural horror movie Carrie as George Dawson.
