Demián Bichir Nájera (born August 1, 1963) is a talented actor from Mexico. He became well-known for his roles in TV shows called telenovelas. Later, he started acting in movies made in Hollywood. He even received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in the movie A Better Life.

Demián Bichir was born in a city called Torreón in Mexico. His parents, Alejandro Bichir and Maricruz Nájera, are also actors. Acting runs in his family! His brothers, Odiseo and Bruno, are also actors. His family has roots from Lebanon.
