History of Denmark Township
Denmark Township was officially created in the year 1853. This means it has been a recognized community for a long time.

Several smaller communities and locations are found within Denmark Township.
Carr's Corners
Carr's Corners was once a small community in the eastern part of the township. It was started in 1854. This place even had its own post office from 1862 until 1900.
Denmark Junction
Denmark Junction is a specific spot in the township. It is where different railroad lines meet. You can find it north of the M-46 highway, between Quanicassee and Bradford Roads.
Reese Village
The village of Reese is located in the northwest corner of Denmark Township. It sits right on M-81, which is a state highway.
Richville Community
Richville is a small, unincorporated community in the southwest part of the township. It used to be called Frankenhilf. Richville is important because it is where two main highways, M-15 and M-46, cross paths.
From Richville, you can easily reach other nearby towns and cities:

- I-75 is about 7 miles (11 km) to the west on M-46.
