Denver Township is a community located in Isabella County, Michigan, in the United States. It was officially started in 1876. According to the 2020 census, about 1,199 people live in Denver Township.

Communities in Denver Township
Denver Township is home to a few smaller, unofficial communities. These are places that don't have their own separate local government.
Delwin
- Delwin is one of these communities within the township. You can find it at 43°41′50″N 84°40′41″W / 43.69722°N 84.67806°W.
- Long ago, Delwin was a stop on the Pere Marquette Railroad, which was a major train line.
- It also had its own post office. This post office served the community from April 27, 1880, until November 15, 1906.
- In 1888, people planned out 54 building lots in Delwin. This means they created a map showing where houses or businesses could be built.
Leaton
- Leaton is another unofficial community in Denver Township. Its location is 43°40′12″N 84°42′30″W / 43.67000°N 84.70833°W.
- This community was named after James C. Leaton. He was a lawyer who lived in Mount Pleasant. Mr. Leaton also worked with land and lumber in the area.
- Leaton got its own post office on March 1, 1880. William Allenbaugh was the first person in charge of it.
- Like Delwin, Leaton was also a station on the Pere Marquette Railroad.
- The community was planned out in 1886 by a company called Leaton & Upton.
Geography of Denver Township
Denver Township covers a total area of about 36.5 square miles (94.6 square kilometers). Almost all of this area is land. There is very little water within the township's borders.
Population Information
In 2000, there were 1,147 people living in Denver Township. These people lived in 415 households, and 304 of these were families. The population density was about 31.4 people per square mile.
Many households, about 37.8%, had children under 18 living with them. Most households, 59.8%, were married couples living together.
The people in the township were spread out by age. About 28.4% were under 18 years old. Around 9.4% were 65 years or older. The average age in the township was 34 years old.
