Depew is a small town located in Creek County, Oklahoma, in the United States. It is about 41 miles southwest of the larger city of Tulsa. In 2020, the town had a population of 411 people. Depew was named after a famous person from New York, Senator Chauncey Depew.

History of Depew
Depew started as a settlement called Hall in 1898. This was when a railroad company, the St. Louis and Oklahoma City Railroad, built a train line through the area. This railroad later became part of the St. Louis and San Francisco Railway.
In 1901, a man named Walter F. Malley officially named the community Depew. He also opened the first post office in the town.

Depew is in Oklahoma, specifically in Creek County. It is about 29 miles southwest of another town called Sapulpa.
