Depot Creek is a small river located in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. It flows through a region known as the Thunder Bay District, specifically in what is called "geographic" Ware Township. This creek is an important part of the Great Lakes Basin, which means its waters eventually flow into the Great Lakes. Depot Creek is a "tributary" of the Kaministiquia River, meaning it's a smaller stream that flows into the larger Kaministiquia River.
About Depot Creek
Depot Creek starts its journey from an unnamed lake. From there, it flows towards the southwest and then turns west. Along its path, the creek passes underneath Silver Creek Road.
Where it Ends
The creek reaches its end when it flows into the Kaministiquia River. This meeting point is about 10 kilometers (about 6 miles) north-northwest of a small community called Kaministiquia. The Kaministiquia River then continues its flow until it reaches Lake Superior, one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world.
