Devon Joel Werkheiser (born March 8, 1991) is an American actor and musician. He is best known for playing Ned Bigby in the popular Nickelodeon TV show Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. He also starred as Nolan Byrd in the 2007 Nickelodeon movie Shredderman Rules. Besides acting, Devon is also a talented musician.

Early life
Devon Werkheiser was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up in a place called Johns Creek, Georgia. When he was young, his parents signed him up for acting classes at a local program called the Talent Factory.
Career
Acting
After a small part in the movie We Were Soldiers, Devon and his mom moved to Los Angeles. This helped him follow his dream of acting. In 2003, he had a main role as Max Korda in the TV movie Recipe for Disaster.
His biggest role came when he was cast as Ned Bigby in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. He also lent his voice to animated movies like Casper's Scare School, where he was the voice of Casper the Friendly Ghost. He also voiced Gordo in The Wizzard of Krudd.
In 2007, Devon starred in the Nickelodeon movie Shredderman Rules. He played Nolan Byrd, a quiet kid who becomes a secret hero called Shredderman. That same year, he played Chris Marino in the movie Christmas in Paradise. In 2009, Devon was Victor in The First Time, a movie about a boy who likes an older girl. He also played Brad Burris in The Prankster.
Devon continued acting in different movies. In 2011, he was Danny in the thriller Beneath the Darkness. In 2013, he starred as Max in the horror film The Wicked. He also played Brett in the Lifetime movie Zephyr Springs. In 2014, he was Nick Behrle in California Scheming and Fitch in Helicopter Mom.
In 2016, Devon played Jason in the TV movie Bad Sister. His character was followed by a new nun at school. He also hosted a dance competition show called Dance-Off Juniors. Later in 2016, he was Logan in the movie Sundown. He also appeared in an episode of 2 Broke Girls. In 2017, Devon played Brock in the comedy film Where's the Money.
In 2018, he had roles in Break Night and To The Beat!. In 2019, Devon played Charlie in the web series Rough Draft. He also appeared as Floyd Stiles in the crime film Crown Vic. That same year, he starred as Sam in the romantic comedy Santa Girl.
Podcast
In January 2023, Devon started his own podcast called Growing Up with Devon Werkheiser.
In February 2023, he began a rewatch podcast called Ned's Declassified Podcast Survival Guide. He hosts it with his former co-stars Lindsey Shaw and Daniel Curtis Lee.
Music
Devon Werkheiser has also pursued a music career. He used to be signed with Universal Motown. He performed live shows with other singers.
His first song, "If Eyes Could Speak", came out on April 1, 2010. The music video was released on YouTube. His second song, "Sparks Will Fly", was released later that year.
He released his first EP (Extended Play) called I Am on June 25, 2013. An EP is like a mini-album with fewer songs. On June 9, 2015, he released his second EP, Here and Now. He also released singles like "Stuck On the Ground" and "Fire" in 2016.
On April 23, 2020, he released his third EP, Chapter One, which has five songs.
In 2023, Devon started a new music project called Good/Vlly. This project has a more electronic sound. His first EP under this name, Brief Romance, was released on October 24, 2023.
Personal life
Devon Werkheiser was in a relationship with his Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide co-star, Lindsey Shaw, for over a year after the show finished filming.
