Daniel Curtis Lee is an American actor, comedian, and rapper. He was born on May 17, 1991. He is most famous for playing Simon "Cookie" Nelson-Cook. This role was in the popular Nickelodeon TV show Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. He was on the show from 2004 to 2007.

Early Life

Daniel Curtis Lee was born in Jackson, Mississippi. His parents are Nathaniel Lee Sr. and Sharial Lee. His dad is a producer. Daniel also has an older brother, Nathaniel Lee Jr., who is an actor too. Daniel lived in Mississippi until he was 10 years old. Then, his family moved to Long Beach, California.

Acting Career

Daniel's big break came in 2004. He started playing Simon "Cookie" Nelson-Cook. This was on the Nickelodeon series Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. In the first try-out episode in 2003, the character "Cookie" was called "Boogie." Another actor played him before Daniel was chosen for the role.

After Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide finished in 2007, Daniel kept acting. He played Kornelius "Kojo" Jonesworth. This was on the Disney XD show Zeke and Luther. He has also appeared in other TV shows. These include First Monday and The Shield. He was also in movies like Friday After Next.

Music and Podcasts

Daniel Curtis Lee is also a rapper. He creates and releases his own songs. You can find his music on Spotify. His first album, called Double Lit Double It, came out in 2020.

In February 2023, Daniel started a podcast. It is called Ned's Declassified Podcast Survival Guide. He hosts it with his former co-stars. These are Devon Werkheiser and Lindsey Shaw. In November 2024, they announced that they would run the podcast themselves. They decided to become independent.
