Daniel Curtis Lee (born May 17, 1991) is an American actor, comedian, and rapper. He is best known for playing Simon "Cookie" Nelson-Cook on the popular Nickelodeon TV show Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. This show aired from 2004 to 2007. He also starred in the Disney XD series Zeke and Luther.

Early Life and Beginnings
Daniel Curtis Lee was born in Jackson, Mississippi. His birthday is May 17, 1991. His dad, Nathaniel Lee Sr., is a producer. His older brother, Nathaniel Lee Jr., is also an actor. Daniel lived in Mississippi until he was 10 years old. Then, his family moved to Long Beach, California.
Becoming a Star
Daniel's big break came in 2004. He was cast as Simon "Cookie" Nelson-Cook in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. This role made him very well-known. Interestingly, in the first try-out for the show in 2003, the character "Cookie" was called "Boogie". Another actor played him before Daniel got the part a year later.
After Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide finished in 2007, Daniel continued acting. He played Kornelius "Kojo" Jonesworth on the Disney XD show Zeke and Luther. He has also appeared in other TV shows. These include First Monday and The Shield. He was also in movies like Friday After Next.
Music and Podcasts
Besides acting, Daniel Curtis Lee is also a rapper. He creates and releases his own music. You can find his songs on Spotify. His first album, called Double Lit Double It, came out in 2020.
In February 2023, Daniel started a new project. He launched a podcast called Ned's Declassified Podcast Survival Guide. He hosts it with his former co-stars, Devon Werkheiser and Lindsey Shaw. The podcast is part of the PodCo network.
Life Outside of Acting
Daniel Curtis Lee enjoys playing basketball. He used to be a member of the Hollywood Knights. This is a special basketball team made up of celebrities. Daniel also went to college. He earned a degree in linguistics from California State University, Long Beach. Linguistics is the study of language.
