Delvic Dyvon "Dino" Philyaw, born on October 30, 1970, is a former American football player. He played as a running back and kick returner. Dino played for the National Football League (NFL)'s Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints.

Dino Philyaw's Football Journey
Dino Philyaw was first chosen by the New England Patriots in 1995. He was picked in the sixth round of the NFL Draft. He signed with the team, but was released on September 1, 1995.
Playing for the Carolina Panthers
Later in 1995, Dino joined the Carolina Panthers. This was a new team in the NFL. He played in one game for them. In that game, he returned one kickoff for 23 yards.
In 1996, he played for the Panthers again. He was a backup running back. He helped out Anthony Johnson. That year, Philyaw ran for 38 yards. He also scored his only touchdown in the NFL.
Time Away and Return to the NFL
After the 1996 season, the Panthers released Dino. He did not play in the NFL in 1997 and 1998. During this time, he played briefly for the Scottish Claymores. This team was part of NFL Europe in 1998.
Dino returned to the NFL in 1999. He joined the New Orleans Saints. He was their main kick returner. He also played as a backup running back. That season, he returned 53 kickoffs. He gained 1,165 yards from these returns. He also rushed for 16 yards.
Playing in the XFL
After his time with the Saints, Dino joined the XFL. This was a new football league that started in 2001. He played for the New York/New Jersey Hitmen. After playing in the XFL, he stopped playing professional football.
