The Hub was a TV channel in the United States. You could watch it on Digital cable and satellite television. The Hub took the place of a channel called Discovery Kids. It was created by two big companies working together: Discovery Communications, Inc. and Hasbro. They each owned half of the channel.

Hub TV Shows and Blocks
The Hub channel had different blocks of shows. These blocks were special times of the day when certain types of programs aired. There were four main blocks:
HubBub: For Little Kids
HubBub was a block of shows made for preschoolers. These shows usually aired in the morning. Some of the shows you could watch during HubBub included Animal Mechanicals, Maryoku Yummy, In the Night Garden, Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures, and The WotWots.
Family Prime Time: Evening Fun
Family Prime Time was an evening lineup of shows. It aired on most weekdays and some weekend nights. This block featured shows that families could enjoy together. Some popular shows during Family Prime Time were Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show, Doogie Howser, M.D., Laverne & Shirley, The Wonder Years, and Happy Days.
HubBoom: Action at Night
HubBoom was a late-night block. It was all about action-packed shows! You could watch HubBoom from Monday through Thursday nights. Shows like Batman, The Transformers, and G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero were part of this exciting block.
Saturday Mash Up: All-Day Weekend Shows
Saturday Mash Up was a block that lasted almost all day on Saturdays. It had several smaller blocks inside it, each with a different theme:
- Crack Up was a sub-block that showed funny cartoons.
- Smash Up was a sub-block that featured action shows.
- Team Up was a sub-block that aired two episodes of Family Game Night back-to-back.
- Family Prime was a sub-block that showed some of The Hub's best programs.
- Family Movie Night was a sub-block where you could watch family-friendly movies.
