Dmitry Aleksandrovich Muserskiy (born 29 October 1988) is a famous Russian volleyball player. He is known for being a member of the Russian national team and playing for the Japanese club, Suntory Sunbirds. Dmitry is one of the tallest athletes in the world.

He has won many important titles. These include an Olympic gold medal in 2012, the World Cup in 2011, and the European Championship in 2013. He has also won several medals in the World League.

Dmitry Muserskiy's Volleyball Journey

Dmitry Muserskiy started playing volleyball when he was just 8 years old. His coach, Boris Osnach, helped him learn the game.

In 2006, Dmitry played for the junior national team. This is a team for younger players who are still developing their skills.

His first match for the Russian national team was on June 4, 2010. It was against the USA in the FIVB World League. In that game, Dmitry scored 13 points. This made him the top scorer for the Russian team that day!

In 2011, Dmitry and his national team had a fantastic year. They won both the FIVB World League and the FIVB World Cup. These are two very big international volleyball tournaments.

About Dmitry's Life

Dmitry Muserskiy was born in Makiivka, which is in Ukraine. At that time, it was part of the Soviet Union.

He became a Russian citizen in 2006. In February 2015, Dmitry and his wife welcomed their son, Roman, into the world.
