Dominic Haakon Myrtvedt Purcell (born on 17 February 1970) is an Australian actor. He is famous for playing Lincoln Burrows in the TV show Prison Break. He also played Mick Rory / Heat Wave in The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. Another well-known role was Drake / Dracula in the movie Blade: Trinity.

Dominic Purcell's Early Life and Training
Dominic Purcell was born in Birkenhead, England. His mother was Irish, and his father was English with Norwegian family roots. In 1972, when he was two years old, his family moved to Sydney, Australia. They first lived in Bondi before settling in Penrith.
He went to several schools, including St Joseph's Kingswood and Blaxland High School. Dominic later studied acting at the Australian Theatre for Young People. He then joined the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. There, he trained alongside another famous actor, Hugh Jackman. Dominic holds citizenship in Australia, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.
Dominic Purcell's Personal Life
Dominic Purcell was married to Rebecca Williamson from 1998 to 2008. They have four children together. In August 2023, he married Tish Cyrus in Malibu, California.
On 1 June 2016, Dominic had a serious accident while filming Prison Break season 5 in Morocco. An iron bar fell on his head, causing injuries like a broken nose. He was quickly taken to a hospital in Casablanca for treatment.
