Early Life and Journey
Dominique Jackson was born on March 20, 1975, in Scarborough, Tobago. She grew up with her grandmother. Dominique faced many challenges during her childhood. Her family and community in Tobago did not fully understand her as a transgender person.
When she was 15, she moved to the United States to live with her mother. In the U.S., Dominique faced difficult times and struggled to make ends meet.
