Doorley Creek is a small stream found in Greater Madawaska, a part of Renfrew County in Eastern Ontario, Canada. It is part of a very large water system called the Saint Lawrence River drainage basin. This means all the water from Doorley Creek eventually flows into the Saint Lawrence River. Doorley Creek is a right tributary of Black Donald Creek. This means it flows into Black Donald Creek from the right side.

Where Doorley Creek Flows

Doorley Creek starts when two smaller, unnamed creeks join together. This meeting point is just north of a main road called Ontario Highway 41.

The Creek's Journey

After forming, the creek flows towards the southeast. It goes under Highway 41 and then under a local road named Doorley Creek Road. From this point, the creek flows right next to Doorley Creek Road all the way to its end.

The creek then makes a turn, flowing south for a bit. After that, it turns southeast again. Finally, it reaches its mouth, where it flows into Black Donald Creek.

Part of a Bigger Water System

Black Donald Creek then flows into Black Donald Lake. From there, the water continues into the Madawaska River. The Madawaska River then joins the Ottawa River. Finally, the Ottawa River flows into the huge Saint Lawrence River. So, a drop of water from Doorley Creek travels a long way to reach the Saint Lawrence River!
