If you drive west on I-78, you will reach Harrisburg. This is the state capital, about 80 miles away. Driving east on I-78 will take you about 90 miles to the Holland Tunnel and Lower Manhattan in New York City.

U.S. Route 222 goes southwest from Dorneyville. It leads to Reading, which is about 34 miles away. South Cedar Crest Boulevard heads south. It is also known as Pennsylvania Route 29. This road will take you to Emmaus, about 3 miles away.
