Downtown Laredo is a really important part of Laredo, Texas. It's like the city's second main business hub, where lots of important things happen. Where is Downtown Laredo?
Downtown Laredo is in the south-central part of Laredo, Texas. It's right where Interstate Highway 35 ends. Across the Rio Grande river, you'll find Downtown Nuevo Laredo in Mexico.
This area is bordered by I-35 to the east. The Rio Grande river forms its southern and western edges. Park Street is the northern border. This special area was the very first city of Laredo. It was started way back in 1755 by a person named Don Tomás Sanchez.
