Dree Louise Crisman Hemingway, born on December 4, 1987, is an American fashion model and actress. She became well-known for her main role in the movie Starlet (2012). She is also famous for her work in fashion campaigns and many independent films.

Early Life and Education

Dree Louise Crisman Hemingway was born in Sun Valley, Idaho. Her mother is actress Mariel Hemingway, and her father is Stephen Crisman. She is also the niece of the late model and actress Margaux Hemingway, who passed away when Dree was 8 years old. The famous author Ernest Hemingway is her great-grandfather on her mother's side. Dree also has a younger sister named Langley Fox.

She grew up in Ketchum, Idaho, and went to Ernest Hemingway Elementary School. Later, she moved to California and lived in Westlake Village. She attended Oaks Christian High School for two and a half years. After that, she left school to start her modeling career. In 2003, she was presented as a debutante at the Bal des débutantes in Paris, France. This is a special event where young women from well-known families are introduced to society.

Dree Hemingway began her modeling career in March 2009. She made her first appearance on the runway for Givenchy in Paris. In June 2009, she walked in the Calvin Klein resort show in New York. The next September, she opened the Topshop show in London.
