Druten (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈdrytə(n)]) is a municipality and a town in the eastern Netherlands. A municipality is like a local government area. Druten is located in the Gelderland province. It is part of a region known as the Land van Maas en Waal.
One of the most important buildings in Druten is its church. A famous architect named Pierre Cuypers designed this church. It is dedicated to two saints, the Two Ewalds. The statues of these saints were made in a special art studio. This studio was owned by Cuypers and Frans Stoltzenberg.
