Samuel Duane Cooper (born June 25, 1969) is an American former professional basketball player. He played as a point guard and was known for his skills on the court.

Duane Cooper was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He grew up loving basketball. After high school, he went to the University of Southern California (USC).

Playing for USC

At USC, Duane Cooper played for the USC Trojans basketball team from 1987 to 1992. He was a very good player. In 1992, he was even named to the First-team All-Pac-10. This means he was one of the best players in his college conference.
