History of Dublin
Dublin was officially started in 1830. It was named after the famous city of Dublin in Ireland. A post office has been open in Dublin since 1833, helping people send and receive mail.
An important event happened here on October 15, 1851. The Indiana Woman's Suffrage Association was created in Dublin. This group worked to give women the right to vote, which was a big step for equal rights.
The Witt-Champe-Myers House, an old and important building, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. This means it is recognized as a special historical site.
