Duey Bajo is a small area, or barrio, located in the municipality of San Germán, Puerto Rico. In 2010, about 980 people lived there. It is a part of the beautiful island of Puerto Rico.
History of Duey Bajo
Puerto Rico became a territory of the United States after the Spanish–American War. This happened in 1898, following the Treaty of Paris of 1898. In 1899, the U.S. government counted the people living in Puerto Rico. This count, called a census, found that 943 people lived in Duey Bajo barrio.
