The dusky tripletooth goby (Tridentiger obscurus) is a small and interesting fish. It belongs to a group of fish called gobies. You can find this fish living along the coasts of Korea and Japan.
This special goby is quite adaptable. It can live in different types of water. It lives in salty ocean water, fresh river water, and even in "brackish" water. Brackish water is a mix of fresh and salty water, like in estuaries where rivers meet the sea.
Dusky tripletooth gobies are not very big. They can grow up to about 14 centimeters (about 5.5 inches) long. This measurement is usually their total length, from their nose to the tip of their tail. While they are sometimes caught by local fishermen, they are not a major fish for commercial fishing.
