Dylan Meyer (born July 10, 1995) is a professional golfer from Evansville, Indiana, in the USA. He went to the University of Illinois before becoming a professional golfer in 2018.
Before he turned pro, he won some big amateur golf tournaments. These included the Western Amateur and the 3M Augusta Invitational twice. Dylan Meyer played his first professional tournament at the 2018 U.S. Open.

Dylan Meyer's Early Life and School
Dylan Meyer started playing golf when he was just 5 years old. He often practiced with his dad, Darren Meyer. When he was younger, he played baseball, basketball, and golf. By the time he was 10, he decided to focus only on golf.
He went to Evansville Central High School. After high school, he played golf for the University of Illinois.
Dylan Meyer's Amateur Golf Career
At Central High School, Dylan was a top golfer. He won every match during his senior year. He also finished third in the state golf finals. He had the best score in a local tournament called the Courier & Press Men's City title.
While at the University of Illinois, Dylan won the 2016 Western Amateur. He beat another golfer named Sam Horsfield in that tournament. In 2017, he won the 3M Augusta Invitational. This win allowed him to play in the 2018 Valspar Championship as a special guest.
He played well at the Valspar Championship, making the "cut." This means he played well enough to continue playing in the final rounds. He finished 74th in that tournament. This was his third time playing in a professional tournament while still an amateur. He had also played in the 2017 Lincoln Land Charity Championship and the 2017 John Deere Classic.
In 2018, he won the 3M Augusta Invitational again, showing he was still a top amateur player. Overall, Dylan Meyer won six college golf tournaments.

Dylan Meyer started his professional golf journey at the 2018 U.S. Open. He made the cut and finished in 20th place. This was a great start for a new professional!
