The ENAC Foundation is an organization started in 2012. Its main goal is to help people learn about and work in aviation. Aviation means everything about flying, like planes and helicopters. The Foundation also supports new ideas and science in this field. It works closely with the École nationale de l'aviation civile, which is a big aviation school in France.
What the Foundation Does
The ENAC Foundation has several important goals. It helps students study aviation around the world. This is called international development. The Foundation also supports new research and ideas in flying. It gives money to students who need help. This allows more young people to follow their dreams in aviation.
History of the Foundation
The ENAC Foundation was officially created in 2012. Before that, the school was already active. In 2009, the school and its former students held a book fair about aviation. In 2010, the school became a training center for aviation safety. This means it helped teach people how to keep flights safe.
After the Foundation started, it gave out its first scholarships in 2014. These scholarships helped students study abroad. In 2015, the Foundation helped create a special research group. This group studies UAVs, which are also known as drones. Since 2017, the Foundation has been supported by GIFAS. This is a group that represents French aerospace companies.
