History of Eagle
Eagle became a town in 1817. It was created from a part of the nearby town of Arcade.
Geography and Nature
Eagle covers about 36.5 square miles (94.5 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, with a small amount of water.
The town is located on the southern border of Wyoming County. This border is also shared with Allegany County.
Eagle's Wind Farm
Eagle is home to the Bliss Wind Farm. This farm uses the strong winds that blow through the area to create electricity. It's a great example of using natural resources for energy!
