Ealing, Acton and Shepherd's Bush was an area in London that had its own representative in the UK Parliament. This area was called a parliamentary constituency. People living there voted for one person, called a Member of Parliament (MP), to speak for them in the House of Commons.
The way they chose their MP was called the "first past the post" system. This means the candidate with the most votes wins. This constituency stopped existing in 2010. Its area was split into two new constituencies: Ealing Central and Acton and Hammersmith. The last MP for Ealing, Acton and Shepherd's Bush, Andy Slaughter, became the MP for the new Hammersmith area.

What Areas Did the Constituency Cover?
This constituency included parts of two different London areas. It covered the eastern side of the London Borough of Ealing, which includes the towns of Ealing and Acton. It also included the northern part of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, which has areas like Shepherd's Bush and White City.
The constituency was made up of several smaller voting areas called electoral wards:
- From the London Borough of Ealing: Hanger Lane, Heathfield, Southfield, Springfield, Vale, and Victoria.
- From the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham: College Park and Old Oak, Coningham, Starch Green, White City and Shepherd's Bush, and Wormholt.
In 2010, the boundaries changed. The part of the constituency in Ealing joined with other areas to form the new Ealing Central and Acton constituency. The Shepherd's Bush part, which was in Hammersmith & Fulham, combined with other areas to create the new Hammersmith constituency.
