East Ham North was a special area in London, called a parliamentary constituency. From 1918 to 1965, it was part of Essex. History of East Ham North
This special area for voting was created by a law called the Representation of the People Act 1918 in 1918. This was just in time for the general election that year. East Ham North stopped being a separate voting area before the election in February 1974.
