East Quogue is a small community known as a hamlet and a census-designated place (CDP). It is located in the Town of Southampton in Suffolk County, on Long Island, in New York, United States. According to the 2020 census, about 5,557 people live here.

History of East Quogue
East Quogue was first settled a long time ago, in 1673. Back then, it was known by a different name: Fourth Neck.
In the 2010s, some parts of the hamlet tried to become an official village. However, in 2019, most people living in those areas voted against the idea, so East Quogue remained a hamlet.
