East Ridge is a city located in Hamilton County, Tennessee, in the United States. In 2020, about 22,167 people lived there. It's surrounded by the city of Chattanooga on three sides and borders the state of Georgia to the south. East Ridge is part of the larger Chattanooga metropolitan area. Its name comes from its location, just east of a place called Missionary Ridge. The Bachman Tubes, which are tunnels under Missionary Ridge, connect East Ridge to downtown Chattanooga.

What to Do in East Ridge: Arts and Culture
The East Ridge City Library is located inside the City Hall building. In 2008, the East Ridge History Center opened. It shows off the local history and culture of the area. There is also a community center that everyone can use. It's next to City Hall and the Pioneer Frontier Playground. The center offers different programs for the community.
Sports in East Ridge
East Ridge is home to several professional soccer teams. They play their games at CHI Memorial Stadium. This stadium has 2,500 seats and will eventually hold 5,500 people. It was the first stadium built just for soccer in Tennessee. It opened on August 1, 2020.
- The Chattanooga Red Wolves SC is a men's team. They play in USL League One, which is the third level of professional men's soccer in the U.S.
- The Chattanooga Lady Red Wolves is a women's team. They started playing in 2023 in the USL W League. This is the second level of professional women's soccer in the U.S.
- The Dalton Red Wolves play in USL League Two. This is a semi-professional league for developing soccer players.

Camp Jordan is a large local park and arena. The arena hosts special events and sports games. Camp Jordan has many features for outdoor fun:
