This means it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. Instead, the county helps manage things there. Eastwood is located inside the huge Mark Twain National Forest. It's about seven miles south of a town called Van Buren. You can find it where Routes C and F meet.
The Story of Eastwood
Eastwood was officially started, or platted, in the year 1910. It was named after one of the people who helped create it, a man named R. H. Eastwood. A post office was opened in Eastwood in 1911.
