The Story of Eatza Pizza
How It Started and Grew
Eatza Pizza began its journey in 1997. It quickly became known for its buffet-style pizza. This meant you could eat as much pizza as you wanted for one price.
The company grew steadily over the years. By 2007, it had 112 locations. This made it a very large pizza chain.
Changes and Challenges
In March 2007, a company called International Franchise Associates bought Eatza Pizza. After this, the main office moved. It went from Arizona to Westport, Connecticut.
However, the new owners faced some big challenges. In July 2008, International Franchise Associates ran into financial trouble. They had to close down many of their businesses.
Sadly, this meant Eatza Pizza also had to close most of its restaurants. By that time, only five Eatza Pizza locations were left. Soon after, the entire chain closed down.
What Was on the Menu?
Eatza Pizza was famous for its wide variety of pizzas. They offered at least 18 different kinds of pizza. This meant there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Besides pizza, they also served other foods. These often included things like salads, pasta, and desserts. It was a great place for families and friends to gather.
When the company was based in Scottsdale, Arizona, it had many restaurants. These were in states like Arizona, California, Florida, and Ohio. They also had locations in Puerto Rico.
