Edele's Music Career

Starting with B*Witched

In 1997, Edele and Keavy formed a girl group called Butterfly Farm with their friend Sinéad O'Carroll. They started writing and recording songs together. Soon, they felt someone was missing from their group. Keavy suggested they ask Lindsay Armaou to join. Lindsay auditioned by playing a song she had written. The other girls loved it, and Lindsay became the fourth member. The group then changed their name to B*Witched.

After B*Witched took a break, Edele joined a team that wrote and produced songs called Xenomania. She helped write songs for other famous groups. For example, she co-wrote "Some Kind of Miracle" for Girls Aloud's first album. She also helped write "Buster," "Situation's Heavy," and "Twisted" for the Sugababes' third album.

In 2006, Edele and Keavy formed a duo called Ms Lynch. By December 2009, they changed their name to Barbarellas. Edele later shared on Facebook in 2012 that the Barbarellas project had ended. Soon after, she reunited with the other members of B*Witched.
