Edgerton is a small village located in the middle part of Alberta, Canada. It's about 35 kilometers (22 miles) east of a town called Wainwright.
The village got its name from H. H. Edgerton, who was an important person working for the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway. Edgerton became a village on September 11, 1917.
