Geography
What is the Climate Like in El Salto?
El Salto has a special kind of weather called a subtropical highland climate. This means it gets a lot of rain during the summer months. This rain keeps the area from becoming too dry, unlike some places further inland.
Because it's so high up in the mountains, El Salto has mild summers with plenty of rain. The winters are usually dry and quite chilly, with temperatures often dropping below freezing at night. Sometimes, it even snows during the winter!
