Ella Koon was born in Tahiti, an island in French Polynesia. This is a beautiful place that is part of France. Her family comes from the Hakka people, a group of Chinese people.

She grew up in Hong Kong. Later, she went to high school in Birmingham, England. Ella is very good with languages. She can speak Hakka, Cantonese, English, and Mandarin. She also knows some French.

Ella is also a musician. She plays the Guzheng, which is a traditional Chinese instrument with 21 strings. She can also play the guitar and the piano.
