Ella Koon Yun-na, born on July 9, 1979, is a talented singer and actress from Hong Kong. She used to be a popular Cantopop singer and has also starred in many movies and TV shows.

About Ella Koon
Early Life and Background
Ella Koon was born on the island of Tahiti in French Polynesia. Her family has Hakka roots. She grew up in Hong Kong. Later, she went to high school in Birmingham, England.
Ella is very good with languages. She can speak Hakka, Cantonese, English, and Mandarin. She also knows some French. Besides languages, Ella is a musician. She plays the Guzheng, which is a traditional Chinese instrument with 21 strings. She also plays the guitar and piano. Ella is a citizen of France.
Starting Her Career
After finishing her studies in England, Ella Koon came back to Hong Kong in 2000. She started her career as a model. She appeared in many magazines, advertisements, and commercials. Modeling quickly became her full-time job.
In 2001, Ella got her first movie role in a film called "I Do". After this movie, she continued modeling. Then, in 2004, she was invited to a singing audition. This audition led to a contract with Boombeat Music. This is how her singing career began.
Music and Acting Success
Ella's first few music albums were "Original" (2004), "Ellacadabra" (2005), "Lose Sanity" (2006), and the EP "Stages" (2008). These albums did not become very famous. However, her singing career really took off when she appeared on the TV show The Voice. On the show, she sang "Endless Love" and impressed many people.
Ella also became well-known for her acting in TVB drama series. She starred in "Revolving Door of Vengeance" in 2005. In this show, she played a happy and carefree girl named "Hoi Sum." In 2007, she was in "Survivor's Law II." Her character, "Lily," was a smart and stylish lawyer. Ella also appeared as a guest on several TVB game shows. She even hosted two food travel shows with famous Hong Kong chefs.
Movies and Other Work
"I Do" was just the beginning of Ella's movie career. She acted in many other films. ..... She also lent her voice to the Cantonese versions of animated movies like "Ice Age 2: The Meltdown" (2006) and "Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" (2009). In 2010, she played the role of Merry in the movie "Merry-go-round."
Between 2010 and 2012, Ella Koon became the first Asian GoDaddy Girl. She was featured on the front page of the GoDaddy website for users in Asia.
Health and Personal Life
In 2006, during an event for the Mid-Autumn Festival, Ella was involved in an incident on stage. A man was arrested right away. Ella was not hurt and decided not to take further legal action.
In September 2014, Ella was diagnosed with Bell's palsy. This condition caused the right side of her face to become temporarily paralyzed.
